Blogging Dengan Bantuan Software 3rd Party, (halah, judulnya ribet, ganti) Blogging Dengan LiveWriter

Salah satu alasan kenapa gue hijrah dari penggunaan mesin blog bikinan pribadi dan menggunakan wordpress adalah, biar bisa manage blog pake desktop software, tepatnya Windows Live Writer. Rutinitas buka web, login, masuk ke halaman posting sudah lumayan bikin muak buat gue pribadi. Terkadang membayangkan rutinitas blogging tersebut bikin ilang napsu buat nulis.

WordPress sendiri pun (yang standar tanpa plugin), susunan menunya lebih ngeselin lagi, bikin gue muter-muter. Mau manage posting, mesti klik menu manage dulu, baru di halaman manage itu ada menu manage posting atau page. Mau masukin gambar, upload dulu yang di komputer. Nah dengan Live Writer inilah semua aktifitas ‘makan ati’ tersebut bisa diminimalisir sehingga blogging kembali menyenangkan.

Tinggal install, buka programnya, posting deh, mau masukin gambar baik yang ada di kompie ato diweb? cukup beberapa klik layaknya kita nulis di word. Perkara peng-uploadan gambar itu, udah jadi urusannya si Live Writer ketika kita mem-publish tulisan kita.

  1. Bisa posting dengan editor WYSIWYG yang gak pake lama. Kalo di web suka lama load-nya, jadi kebayang betapa waktu dan mood terbuang hanya untuk nunggu loading halaman posting, buat yang koneksinya pas-pasan kayak gue.
  2. Bisa nentuin kategori tulisan (tentu harus dong)
  3. Bisa nambah kategori
  4. Bisa nentuin tanggal tampil postingan
  5. Bisa nge-list semua postingan yang kita punya di blog, dan tentu saja, bisa mengedit dan men-delete nya.
  6. Dan lain-lain, ya memenuhi kebutuhan standar posting di wordpress lah.

Software ini utamanya mendukung blog di Live, tapi juga mendukung beberapa mesin blog lainnya seperti Windows Live, WordPress, Blogger, Live Journal, TypePad, SharePoint, Community Server, dan masih banyak lagi (katanya sih gitu). Ini gambar setup acount blog kita :

Meja Laptop

Udah lama gue pengen punya meja laptop yang nyaman buat di pake di sofa dan terutama di kasur. Akhirnya kemaren sore pas lagi punya waktu senggang di workshop H. Konin. Gue coba-coba bikin sketsa meja laptop, sambil cari-cari referensi di internet.

Selesai corat coret di Sketchup, naiklah gue ke workshop di lantai satu. Niatnya mo minta bikinin sama tukang, tapi gue liat lagi pada sibuk, akhirnya gue cari bahan sendiri, terus gue garis pola potongannya di kayu, dan gue minta potongin pake gergaji mesin sama tukang. Setelah itu gue rakit sendiri, bermodalkan lem putih dan paku tembak 3 cm.

Dan tadaaaaa, akhirnya gue bisa sedikit menyicipi kenyamanan berlaptop ria sambil tiduran di kasur 😀

Ada perbedaan antara dipake di kasur (alas empuk), dengan tiduran di lantai keras. Di atas kasur muat, tapi kalo di lantai, gak masuk, ke angkat sama perut gue hahahahahaha… Terus juga, seharusnya kaki meja juga melebar ke belakang sedikit lagi, nggak lurus begitu. Tapi yang ini udah gue coba dorong-dorong ke arah kaki gue (di kasur), tapi gak jatuh, malah balik lagi ke arah gue. Tadinya mo gue modif lagi, tapi berhubung, gak masalah, ya sudah, lumayanlah buat karya selingan ini.

Hihihihihi kayak ruang kelas gitu. Asiknya kalo ada orang laen juga yang ngunjungin sebuah situs dengan ExitReality, kita bisa berinteraksi dengan mereka, kayak di SecondLife lah.

Sayangnya, waktu gue coba klik sebuah link di dunia nyenius 3D, tetep aja mbuka nya di browser biasa dengan tampilan biasa, entahlah, mungkin karena web gue nggak 3D ready kali ya hehehehehehe :p. Oh iya, sayangnya lagi buat Mac gak ada 😀 .

Siang hari jumat kemaren, gue berangkat ke Trisakti grogol, melalui rute biasa, lewat gramedia pal merah. Bersama Mira, tunggangan baru gue, kami asyik melata di jalan beton yang lega dan lurus itu. Tiba-tiba dibelakang terdengar motor menggerum, dengan knalpot memekakkan telinga. Gue berujar, “Mir, ada yang mau mbalap, ayo kita duluan.” Dan langsung gue tancap gas nya Mira, melaju cepat, cepat, cepat, sampai tak terasa sudah di samping gedung Gramedia. Suara motor di belakang kami pun terdengar makin menggila, tampaknya dia pun menarik gasnya tanpa ragu, makin lama terdengar makin mendekati,
